Handmade nature inspired trellis setting with a leaf on one side.
The solid 14k gold ring has a matte satin finish.

The gemstone is a natural sapphire, and the colour is hard to describe. It looks like a steely grey-purple shade in most light settings, with some flashes of yellowish orange. Sometimes is looks almost complately blue, and other times it looks silvery grey or lilac.
It reminds me of the book The Colour of Magic, where a colour named Octarine is described as "fluorescent greenish yellow-purple" and it's a colour that only withces, wizards, and cats can see.
That's what this sapphire feels like to me.

This ring is ready to ship, and can be resized to any size. It is currently a US 7.
The sapphire is 0.9ct, 6mm, and it's from Madagascar.
