Hugin and Munin - Thought and Memory - Raven Engagement Ring in 14k Yellow Gold with Black Rhodium 1ct Diamond, Nature Inspired Twig Design

This is a handsculpted ring in 14k gold, with a black salt and pepper diamond.
The design is nature inspired, with leaves, twigs, and two crows.

I hand carved the ring in jewellers wax, and it has been cast in solid 14k yellow gold using the lost wax method. The wax is burned away, and gold takes its place, and then the mold is broken to get the gold out.
After that I polished the ring, set the stone, engraved wood like textures, and plated with black rhodium. I partially polished the plating off, leaving it in all the deep parts of the textures, while brightening up the higher parts of the textures, giving the ring an antiqued look and creating depth.
This is optional, but I reccomend it to make the textures truly stand out.

I have made a mold of the ring, so I can cast a the design in your choice of 14k gold; white, yellow, or rose.

On each side of the setting is a handcarved raven, inspired by the two ravens of Odin in Norse mythology; Hugin and Munin, which means thought and memory.
One looks straight ahead, and the other to the side.

Solid 14k Gold, your choice of yellow, rose, or white. I use palladium white gold, which is nickel free.
1ct (+/-0.15ct), approximately 6mm Round Brilliant Cut Black Salt/Pepper Diamond
