Handmade little 14k gold book, made to look like metal and textured old leather.
I handfabricated it out of a whole lot of tiny pieces, and made a mold so I can duplicate and customize it easily.
The book lockets in the pictures were custom orders for other clients, your book will be specially designed for you, not an exact replica of any of the pictured lockets.

The book itself is 16x14x4mm, not counting the top bail.
The inside is 10x13.5x2mm, and you can put a photo in it, or keep little trinkets. There is room for surprisingly much in it. A little love letter, a lock of hair, tiny gemstones, or other personal mini items.
The front and back cover is slightly textured, to resemble an old leather book. If you want it smooth, that is also possible.

The possibilities are endless. The photos show examples of customized books I have created for people before. Some of them dainty and polished and fit for a fairy, some of them darker with a grungy look as if they were created by a witch.

I can make sculpted flowers, animal silhouettes, a forest or mountain landscape, raised symbols, the possibilities are endless!

The price menu shows what complexity of design elements you want. Message me with your ideas if you are uncertain which to select.
1 would be one raised design on one side of the book, like the lily of the valley or the ornamental T, or the horse or wolf silhouette.
2 would be like the book with a sculpted rose, a raised moon with some star engravings. Or a raised motif on both front and back.
Something that is complicated work to sculpt and is more 3D than flat like the crow skull, would also count in this category.
3 would be like the book with detailed engraving, and sculpted mushrooms that also glow in the dark. If they had not been glowing, this would have counted in category 2.
4 would be a design where there is something on the front and on back, and something going up from the book like the rose or mushrooms or swirls with leaves, and one other detail like for example that something glows in the dark or that there is something added to the inside of the book.

The price difference for using several colours is because I would need to cast all the parts separately and then solder them together rather than casting it all in one piece if it is all one colour.

I use solid 14k gold in yellow, rose or white. The white gold I use is nickel free and has a high palladium content, so it's allergy friendly and a deep grey tone that does not need plating, and will not change over time.
The rose and white is of course also nickel free and unplated and won't change, I only mention the white gold specifically because normal white gold does contain nickel and is nearly always plated with white rhodium because nickel white gold is a yellowish tone naturally.
If you want black rhodium plating over your gold, partially polished off to give it an antiqued look, that's also possible. Message me for the current price for that.

I can also add gemstones to the book, either on the cover, on a flower or similar, or hanging from the bail.

I will send you photos of your locket during the creation process, and before I ship.
